Summer Fun Day …Following the success of the Christmas Fun Day in December, the traders along Northfield Avenue have got together again to arrange a Summer Fun Day. The event takes place in June. Lots of activities are being arranged by different shops and businesses along the Avenue and there'll be lots of things for you to see and do.You'll be able to sample different foods, try some wines and Antonius Oils will be offering olive oil tasting. There will be competitions and demonstrations, craft workshops, face painting and the opportunity to try aromotherpy or have a massage. There will cake and gingerbread decorating, music for young children, blood pressure testing and even the opportunity to get your car washed at the Swedish Car Centre. And there's even more, entertainers including a magician, a puppeteer, a barbers quartet, a unicyclist and many others,will be performing along the Avenue. Proceeds from the day's event will be donated to the local charity, the Log Cabin. And the Log Cabin is also having its Open Day on the same day. Here families can join in junk modelling, story telling, a treasure hunt, henna art, a tombola and other competitions. There’ll also be Mad Science activities, a karate demonstration and the big structure in the playground will be available to all children to play on.

Halloween …Hallowe'en is drawing near and whether you are looking for a stylish witch costume or a pair of vampire fangs , we should have it! We offer a wide range of items that are great for Halloween events. We have costumes for children, including skeletons, devils, vampires as well as dresses, hats and broomsticks for witches . You can also find Halloween tableware and invitations, favour bags and lots of balloons, foils and latex at our shop as well as decorations to give your venue an authentic Halloween look. And if you are looking for adult costumes, you won't be disappointed. For women we have vamp outfits, hooded capes as well as witches outfits, wigs and hats. For men there are vampire and Dracula costumes and wigs, witch hunter hats as well as mad surgeons wigs and ghost cotumes. Additionally, you will find a range of accessories to complete your outfits, such as devil horns, fangs, axes, spiders, bats, vampire sets, stripy tights and much, much more...

| Christmas time gives us plenty of opportunities to have parties and meet up with friends and family. Whether you're looking for a fancy dress costume, mask, angel wings, a Santa outfit, beard or hat, reindeer antlers, holly berry confetti, snowflake stickers or table covers, napkins and plates for your table, we can help. Come along to our shop and see our range of Christmas goodies. We stock a range of nativity costumes for children and currently have Joseph, Mary, shepherd and king costumes available. Christmas Fun Day On Saturday 15 December, the traders have got together to arrange a Christmas event along the Avenue. There will be carol singers, Father Christmas, face painters, competitions, raffles, jugglers, balloons, choirs, mural painting, unicyclist, angels, lots of mince pies and sausage rolls and much more. And it’s all in a good cause, as the traders along Northfield Avenue will be fund raising for the Log Cabin, a local Adventure Playground for children with special needs. The event starts at 12.00pm to 16:00pm so why not come along and join in the fun. Sandy Sparkle at Bouncing Kids At Bouncing Kids Fancy Dress & Party Shop, the enterainer, Sandy Sparkle, will be performing between 12.00 and 13.00. She'll be doing some balloon modelling and a little bit of magic. Come along and join in the fun.
